Fee Information
SOURCE Psychotherapy serves as an out-of-network provider for most major insurance companies. When accessing services out of your preferred insurance network, you may be eligible for at least partial reimbursement. Many clients with PPO plans qualify for 20 - 80% reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider for specific information. Some further questions you might ask are:
Does my health insurance policy have a mental health or behavioral health benefit?
Does my policy cover a non-participating (out of network) LMFT or AMFT for office visits and/or telehealth?
What is my annual deductible? Has it been met for this calendar year?
During the calendar year, how many sessions does my policy cover?
What paperwork or form do I need to submit for sessions to be covered?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost as a result of the “No Surprises Bill” taking effect in January 2022.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. When we book a first appointment, I will send you a GFE if you are not using your insurance.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right dispute the bill. You will always have access to your specific GFE on your online portal. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
“And every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, “This is important! And this is important! And this is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this!” And each day, it’s up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, “No. This is what’s important.”
